The studio belonged to the holding CDP Investment, which was later merged with Optimus. The company's registered office was located in Warsaw. As part of the subsequent numerous transformations of the parent company, CD Projekt Red became a legal subsidiary of CD Projekt SA (until November 2012 CD Projekt Red SA).
